It all began on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Next Level—a night George has saved in his phone as “the day I pulled her.” His line brother had brought him there after a night at Prive’, Brought there by his line brother after a night at Prive’, George wasted no time making an impression, boldly stating, “I’m not going to lie to you, I want your number, but I’m not going to get it tonight.” To which Cymone, intrigued, simply asked, “Why not?” That moment set the stage for a relationship full of bold moves, deep conversations, and a love that grew stronger with every step with a few unexpected twists a long the way.

From our first trips together—Orlando in May 2022, St. Louis for Cymone’s birthday—to meeting each other’s moms that fall, every milestone brought us closer. By October, we found ourselves back in Orlando, unofficially ring browsing, a quiet acknowledgment that we were both thinking about forever. Our first year was filled with ups, downs (four breakups to be exact), and ultimately, a decision to fully commit. After moving in together and blending our lives, our parents finally met that Christmas, marking the start of something even bigger.

2023 brought a true test—George set off on a life-changing trip to Africa, spending 10 days climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, seven of which were with no contact. The time apart made one thing clear: neither of us wanted to be without the other. When George returned, Cymone expressed her love in a way that removed any remaining doubts—he was now officially on the clock.
